James was asked to provide a swashbuckling soundtrack to NBC’s action-packed period drama set in the 17th century. Chronicling the exploits of Robinson Crusoe, the series features mutiny, pirates, buried treasure and treachery, as well as long-lost love and an unceasing desire to return home.

The score harnesses a sweeping orchestral score alongside intimate period detail, to summon up the mood of a classic adventure story.
